11) How, exactly, did Martha escape? Earlier in the episode, it looked like her hand could have slipped through the loop of the ziptie, yet, when the group returns to the SWAT truck, the support beam is, strangely, covered in blood. Did she…break her hand, or something, in the process of escaping? I’m finding the blood confusing. Honestly, how long can she last with all of the blood loss she’s had between her escape, and being shot in the previous episode by Wendell?

12) As the episode ends, we see that Martha has written Jim’s beer recipe on his face. This development seems to throw any sense of rhyme or reason to Martha’s M.O. for writing on her walkers’ faces completely out the window: Sometimes it’s what they say, sometimes it’s what she says, sometimes what someone else says.

13) Incidentally, we don’t see the secret ingredient to the recipe on Jim’s face, meaning that, despite listening to the rest of the recipe over the radio, Martha didn’t hear the last part.

14) Jim is the first member of the group we’ve seen turn since Jake Otto way back in the Season Three episode, “Brother’s Keeper”.

15) Jim is also the sixth named character we’ve seen turn this season, behind (In chronological order): Hank, Stevie, Purvis, Ennis, and Quinn. Since we don’t really know when Martha’s backstory happened relative to the first half of the season, I’m assuming it happened before that.

16) How did Martha get rid of the herd? Distract them after the alarm died? …With what?

17) This episode gets its name from Morgan’s explanation of his psyche to Althea as she interviewed him in the season premiere episode, “What’s Your Story?”: “I Lose People, and then I lose myself.”
