MVP from Fear The Walking Dead episode 416: …I Lose Myself

One character stood out more than the others during the season 4 finale of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead to be named the MVP from “…I Lose Myself”

There was a lot to take away from the season 4 finale of Fear The Walking Dead on Sept. 30, 2018. There were walkers, poison, handcuffs, and much more keeping the survivors from hitting the road again.

Still, episode 416 of the popular AMC zombie survival drama series was nearly the end of every single character on the show. But there was one individual who went above and beyond during “…I Lose Myself” who earned the title of Most Valuable Person.

The MVP from FearTWD 416 is Morgan Jones

There were a lot of things going on during the season 4 finale, but nearly everything revolved around Morgan and his decisions to choose saving people, saving himself, or helping one person.

Morgan may have made a poor decision by leaving everyone else behind to confront Martha about her situation and attempt to have her see the light, but he did so with the best of intentions on hoping to bring her back to reality, much as his friends did for him.

Also, making the decision to leave Martha behind to come back as a walker so he could return and eliminate her while still going to save his friends was a heroic move. Although his friends at the gas station were unable to save themselves, Morgan showed up with ethanol to save the day.

Finally, Morgan made the right call by not returning to Alexandria to combine his current and former friends. With so many people needing help in the area, Morgan, Alicia, and the others set their sights on creating a new safe haven to bring everyone together, taking a nod from both Madison Clark and Rick Grimes by doing so.

With no other real options for an MVP from the season 4 finale of Fear The Walking Dead, this was an easy choice. The MVP series will return when the show returns with season 5 in 2019.
