Reason to help #2: Maybe the person you help will return the favor.

Honestly, this whole thing is more about pragmatism than anything else.

The fact is, you’re always better off in a zombie apocalypse with a group than you are by yourself because the dead will always outnumber, but they’ll really outnumber you when you’re alone.

Should you come upon a person who isn’t a complete psycho, hopefully, if you help them, they’ll agree to help you with what you’ll most need help with: Watching your own back.

I’ve said this many a time before, but, it warrants repeating: The number one reason to not go it alone in a zombie apocalypse is the fact you can’t see what’s coming up behind you.

Maybe, if you help someone, you won’t have to worry about that anymore.
