The bad stuff from TWD 901

  1. Life at The Sanctuary. While Alexandria is bright and full of hope, the home of The Saviors doesn’t look too great. They have fixed much of the damage done, but their crops look wilted and life inside the building seems darker than ever. Is living in misery really living?
  2. Daryl in charge. Last time we saw Daryl make decisions, he blatantly disregarded Rick’s direct orders and played a role in giving Negan and The Saviors a chance to wipe out Rick and his allies. Although he’s been around since season one, there should be more trustworthy individuals to take the job.
  3. Gregory still not giving up. After knowingly losing the people and stabbing them in the back on a couple of occasions, he still had the guts to ask for an election to determine who would be in power at The Hilltop. Good on him for trying, but he should have seen that failing from a mile away.
  4. The Hilltop vs all! While Maggie’s group does produce a large amount of the crops and food distributed to the survivors, not everyone seems to be okay with that. For them to use their resources, blood, sweat, and tears, it sounds like there may be an uprising. And that doesn’t sound good at all.
  5. Carol’s hesitation. It’s surprising she’s not jumping at the chance to marry Ezekiel. The two make an adorable couple and with the blessing of Daryl, one of her closest friends, maybe she will finally say yes next time. However, she is right about the ring possibly getting stuck on things.
  6. What will killing Maggie solve? We know Gregory would do anything to be back in power and secure his position of safety in the community, but would the majority of people ever trust him again? And what kind of message would killing Maggie send to the other communities? This is not a very well thought out plan.
