The interesting stuff from TWD 901

  1. Life…uh, finds a way. Jurassic Park made that line famous, but it is true in The Walking Dead as well. The earth looks healthy as ever, with plenty of birds flying around and some healthy horses for the survivors to ride. Turns out Dr. Ian Malcolm was right.
  2. Aaron’s magnificent beard. It took a moment to recognize him but Aaron looks like he has been taking the death of Eric hard. However, he still wants to help as much as he can…and that means him learning how to kick and punch his beautifully bearded body through some walkers.
  3. Those new credits. Much like previous seasons, there are probably a ton of hints about the upcoming season in the credits, but newer to the show is the animated style of artwork used instead of realistic photos. It is a weird change, but not an unwelcome one.
  4. Human vs horse. When it comes down to it, most fans of AMC’s zombie dramas likely would choose to save a horse over a human. Still, the decision of a character to do so was silly, but represents all of us when we see horses, dogs, or even a CGI tiger get consumed. Glad to see a horse survive..even if it meant losing Ken!
  5. Earl is a bull! While going after Maggie, he continued to fight off multiple people while trying to get his target. Heck, he might have won that battle even if it wasn’t a 4-on-1 based on his strength alone. Plus, he put Enid in a wheelchair! I guess that’s what being a blacksmith will do for your upper body strength!
  6. TWD Rewards! This week, 800 points are up for grabs if you watch both The Walking Dead and Talking Dead! 500 points can be yours for using the TWD code “NEWBEGINNING” and 300 will go into your account for “PROPOSAL” for Talking Dead! If you aren’t signed up, do so HERE!
