Did Maggie Make The Right Decision?

Was Maggie justified in killing Gregory? What do you think Glenn would have thought of Maggie’s decision to kill Gregory?

Sonya says:

"She absolutely made the right call. She should have done it a long time ago. Gregory was nothing more than an opportunist. After he attacked her there was nothing else she could have done. Her first responsibility is to Hershel and to keep him safe. So Gregory had to go. And I think Glenn would have supported her decision. I don’t think that Glenn would have wanted to execute Gregory before it escalated to the point where Gregory attacked Maggie, but after that I think Glenn would have supported the decision."

Sara says:

"Maggie was absolutely justified in killing Gregory. He has threatened her repeatedly and she didn’t owe him anymore chances. Especially now that she has baby Hershel to protect, there is no way she was risking letting Gregory walk free. Glenn told Maggie back at the prison that he never wanted her in danger, I’m sure he would have agreed with her decision to kill Gregory, especially with the baby around."

Sarabeth says:

"I definitely think there was justification in killing Gregory, but she skipped the crucial step of explaining why he died and not Earl. From the casual onlooker’s perspective it looks like this was a revenge killing on her part. Without due process and any sort of law of the land, this makes her look like a dictator. And given that Gregory was already filling peoples’ heads with the election being rigged, it might come back and hurt her later on. (Maybe that’s what forces her to leave)"
