The Walking Dead continues with season 9 episode 3, “Warning Signs.” Here’s your synopsis of the all-new episode airing October 21, 2018.

The Walking Dead returns this week with an old-fashioned mystery: What’s happening to the Saviors?

At first it seems like it’s all tied together: Unrest at the Sanctuary, messages of “We are still Negan” written on the walls, fights at the bridge and general frustration from the former Saviors. But then Justin was attacked at the end of last week’s episode “The Bridge” and things are a bit murkier. He knew who his attacker was, and even remarked that he almost attacked the mystery assailant. That means there is much more to all of this, and it spells trouble for Rick as he tries to broker peace in this new world.

Here’s the episode description of The Walking Dead “Warning Signs” from AMC:

“Rick’s vision for the future is threatened by a mysterious disappearance that divides the work camp where the communities are building a bridge.”

Work at the bridge continues, but the disappearing Saviors is on everyone’s minds. The Saviors have been left defenseless and more than a couple of them have disappeared. They’re not leaving on their own, so something much bigger is happening.

The problem is exacerbated by the Saviors who are making it difficult to look past their differences. While some residents of the Sanctuary look at Rick as a hero, the ones who don’t are getting into fights and making it hard to see any reason not to kill them off. With tension rising, things will come to a boil soon if the missing members of the group aren’t found soon.

In the middle of all of the strife, there’s a rare bright moment as Rick, Michonne and Judith share some family time together.
