Maggie is heading to Alexandria in the next episode of The Walking Dead. What will she say when she sees the man who killed her husband?

At the end of The Walking Dead episode “Warning Signs” Maggie was on her way to see Negan in Alexandria. She’s definitely shaken by what she saw from the Oceanside women, but seeing them exact revenge has made her resolute in her conviction that something needs to change with Negan. So what will she have to say to the man who brutally killed her husband?

From the sound of things Maggie hasn’t been to Alexandria in a while, which makes perfect sense because there’s no real reason for her to be in the same place as Negan. That’s what makes this such a big deal. After all this time, she has decided that she needs to talk to Negan, but what good could possibly come from it? And if talking can’t help, then what’s she after?

If Maggie hadn’t killed Gregory, and if she hadn’t come across the Oceanside women killing Arat and doing nothing to stop them, then it would be easier to imagine her going to Alexandria to get some kind of relief. She lost her husband in the most violent way possible, so there will never be any closure there, but perhaps speaking her mind would help. Scream at him, call him a monster, let all of the rage out. That makes sense, but why has she waited 19 months to do it?

The reality, however, is that Maggie did kill Gregory, and after hearing that Arat used the same expression Negan used before killing Glenn she turned a blind eye to what the Oceanside women were doing. Maggie is on a mission, so it doesn’t seem like all she wants to do is talk to Negan.

Maggie is out for blood and if she makes it all the way into Alexandria and into the prison then it’s pretty easy to imagine her doing something to make Negan suffer. She might not kill him, but she’s looking for more than a meeting of the minds. She wants to hurt him, and the knowledge that the Oceanside women are in her corner helps.

dark. Next. The Walking Dead 905 is officially Rick Grimes' final episode
