Can Jadis Ever Be Trusted?

Ann has been secretly trading people off to another community and has turned on Gabriel. Is it safe to say that Ann can never be trusted?

Sonya says:

"I think it’s safe to that. From the very beginning she’s always had her own agenda. At first she did what she needed to do for her people, which is what a good leader does. But now she’s only looking out for herself and I don’t think that will change. Not everyone has the kind of selflessness necessary to fit into a community."

Sara says:

"I wasn’t expecting Ann to have another hidden agenda, but trading people off to another community is a huge problem. I really don’t think that Ann can be trusted. I was really hoping she would redeem herself within the group, but I think Ann is only here for herself and no one else. I am however interested in finding out who exactly is the community that Ann has been in cahoots with."

Sarabeth says:

"It’s hard to trust anyone, really, but Anne has a lot of things going against her at this point. From the Scavengers’ betrayal to trading people, it’s going to be rough to believe that she’s acting in the interest of the group. Everything she’s doing now, as Anne, suggests that she’s only looking out for herself."
