1) The episode begins with a group of walkers gathering to feed on a corpse, before being disturbed by a sound. With the reveal that the corpse they were feeding on was Justin’s, that officially makes him the third named character to die this season, behind Ken and Gregory.

2) Just before the title sequence, Justin’s walker (This makes him the first named character to turn this season, by the way) passes by a wall with some white graffiti reading “Final Warning”, which has been foreshadowed throughout this season in the title sequence (Right after we see Lucille and Rick’s magnum in a pile of dirt).

3) Before Rick leaves the house in the morning, he checks Judith’s temperature, a callback to his concerns about a germ going around the community, which he warned Siddiq about in the previous episode, “The Bridge”.

4) As Rick heads downstairs in his house, he passes a pair of porch planks (With blue hand prints on them) placed on the wall as a decoration. These were made by Carl and Judith during Carl’s last day, seen in the flashback in the Season Eight mid-season premiere, “Honor”.

5) During the brawl at the construction site, Alden attempts to break it up, saying “We’re gonna make sure this never happens to any of us again”, prompting Jed to reply with “‘Us?’ You’re not one of us, anymore” referencing Alden choosing to abandon The Saviors during the battle of The Hilltop, in Season Eight’s “Do Not Send Us Astray”.

6) When Carol attempts to intercede in the brawl, Jed refers to her as “C”. Apparently, the ex-Saviors (Or Jed, at the very least) have christened her with a nickname since she took over leadership of The Sanctuary from Daryl in the previous episode, “The Bridge”.
