14) While out searching the wilderness with Rick, Carol starts discussing the morning’s brawl, and tells him she saw “It starting again”, and how she wanted to “End it before it began” (i.e. Shooting Jed before the brawl could escalate). This whole “end it before it began” mentality is a callback to Carol’s killing of Karen and David in an attempt to stem the tide of the flu inside the prison in the second episode of Season Four, “Infected”.

15) When Anne calls out on her secret walkie-talkie, she refers to herself as “Jadis” once again, owing to the fact the helicopter group has likely never heard her real name.

16) We learn from Jadis that she had an arrangement with the helicopter people to get supplies (Or, in this case, a ride) in exchange for an “A”. This explains her using the letter (Which itself has come to be an ill omen in the show ever since Terminus) to mark Rick’s cell during his captivity in the Season Eight episode, “Time For After”.

17) Was Jadis serious about running away with Father Gabriel? Or, was she always intending on trading him? Was their whole “relationship” just a pretext for her to get him into a position where she could trade him? Also…what, exactly, do the helicopter people do with the people they’re given?

18) According to Cyndie, the “Final Warning” spray-painted onto the wall of the rehab center was a threat by Simon, after he had ordered the murder of her communities’ men. This episode gets its name not only from this, but also, from the fact the episode is littered with “Warning Signs” of Rick’s society’s growing instability.

19) Arat is the fourth named character to die this season.

20) Furthermore, of the named characters to die this season, only Ken wasn’t killed by someone else either directly or indirectly.

21) With the revelation of Arat’s role in The Saviors’ attack on Oceanside, it also reveals that she was a Savior before Negan took over the group, as we learned that that event preceded Negan’s ascension in Season Eight’s penultimate episode, “Worth”.
