The Walking Dead episode 905 sneak peek: Michonne confronts Maggie

In this scene from season 9 episode 5 of The Walking Dead, Maggie has some violent intentions but Michonne is trying to persuade her to change her mind.

While much emphasis for episode 905 of The Walking Dead is being placed on Rick Grimes, that is far from the only plotline happening right now on the popular AMC zombie survival drama series, with several other characters in tough spots.

One of those characters is Maggie, who is bloodthirsty for revenge on Negan, the man who took the life of Glenn and broke up their family. Meanwhile, Michonne is hoping that keeping the former leader of The Saviors will do better for the communities locked up instead of being a martyr.

AMC released a sneak peek at season 9 episode 5 of The Walking Dead to give fans a look into what to expect from the episode on Sunday, Nov. 4. Here is that video as shared on the YouTube channel of AMC:

Maggie is standing outside the entrance to Negan’s cell where she is stopped my Michonne. Michonne tells her to step back, but Maggie is quick to remind of what happened with Lucille and Glenn at the hands of Negan.

Glenn is mentioned, with Michonne asking whether or not Glenn would want this to happen if it meant going through her to do it. Maggie replies that she has no clue what he’d want because she didn’t get to say goodbye. Michonne adds that Hershel wouldn’t want this either.

Getting riled up, Maggie says the one thing she had to look forward to was watching the man who murdered Glenn die. And that was taken away from her. She puts the shoe on the other foot, saying that if it were Rick that died and she was left to raise a family alone she’d feel the same as the scene comes to an end.

This is for sure an intense scene and it is hard to see a resolution where either survivor walks away. Both make some great points, but Maggie seems hell-bent on getting her revenge and won’t stop until Negan is dead. But can Michonne keep the peace, at least for now?
