As The Walking Dead fans prepare to say goodbye to Rick Grimes our panel takes an in depth look at the best moments and intense stories in “The Obliged”.

In “The Obliged” The Walking Dead started to set up Rick Grimes’ farewell by having him resolve issues with Daryl and Carol. Daryl and Rick had a fight that has been a long time coming as they both spoke some harsh truths. But eventually they made up, which will hopefully give Daryl some peace when Rick has gone.

There were also some intense interactions between Negan and Michonne, as Negan tried his best to find out what happened to Lucille. He’s been locked in that cell for almost two years and it looks like that’s starting to wear on his mental state a little bit. Maybe they should have just killed him? Our panel is going explore that question, among others.

And Carol is taking her people back home and abandoning The Saviors. She’s right that The Saviors don’t want any of the other survivors at The Sanctuary and they don’t want to be led by someone from another community. But leaving them on their own might just make the community devolve into chaos.

Will that shocking ending set up the death of Rick Grimes? Possibly not, but our panel is going to discuss what that moment means for Rick and what they thought the best moments from The Walking Dead “The Obliged” were. Also this week we’re welcoming a new member to our panel, Jeffrey Kopp, or as you might know him on Twitter The Walking Dead World. So let’s get started:
