Undead Walking writers pick their favorite Rick Grimes episodes

As Andrew Lincoln’s tenure on The Walking Dead comes to an end, the Undead Walking staff wanted to share favorite Rick Grimes memories with fans.

The Walking Dead started out with Rick Grimes and to move forward without him in the future will be a strange thing, but there’s a lot of hope for the future thanks to the strong foundation Andrew Lincoln built for the show. As we prepare for Rick Grimes to leave the world of The Walking Dead, the Undead Walking staff shares their favorite Rick-centric episodes from the past nine seasons.

Looking back, it’s hard to pick one favorite episode or memory because there are so many. The Walking Dead has surged past the 100-episode mark and after “What Comes After” there will be a bold new future for the show. Sure, Rick Grimes will be gone but his presence will still be felt. Though some people disagreed with his philosophy, they still respected the man who led them to safety despite losing his wife and son in the process.

You’ll see that some episodes really resonated with some of our writers but for very different reasons, which is a reminder that The Walking Dead means something different to every member of the TWD Family but nevertheless we come together to enjoy it as one unified group.
