The Bad Things from TWD 906

  1. Losing that trust. Yes, there are a lot of bad survivors out there, but there are also some great ones. We saw Rick make a bad decision with Siddiq that ended up costing Carl his life and the new community can’t risk making the same kind of mistakes with survivors that can help in the long run.
  2. The Kingdom is falling apart. It’s not the people that are getting lost, it is the buildings that are losing their stability. At one time, this looked like the most sustainable community of all the groups…but sometimes adjustments need to be made when things aren’t going well.
  3. More conflicts. Seeing Gabriel, Eugene, and Rosita talking about searching out other great survivors to add to their group by using a radio signal booster goes against everything that just happened at the town hall meeting.
  4. Falling into the trap. Hearing someone yelling for help makes people want to run to investigate, but there has to be a balance to between trust/help and safety/being smart. Finding that area in the middle is hard, but not running to help someone you believe in need has to be hard for a genuinely good person.
  5. Leap of faith. Instead of injuring himself, Eugene could have saved a lot more time and struggle by calling for Rosita to bring him back the ladder. Still, for Eugene, diving off the water tower is a pretty bold move for a character who was known for being pretty cowardly in the past.
  6. No, the dead aren’t evolving. For those who aren’t familiar with The Whisperers from the comics, there are survivors who blend among the dead in order to be camouflaged from any danger while checking out everything and gathering intel. They came in during issue 130 of the comics, which is perfect timing.
