A lot of people are responsible for getting Maggie to where she is as a leader. While her time on the series may be over for now, her presence and the legacy of those that shaped her will most certainly be felt.
When Maggie first entered the scene in episode 202, her strong will and care for others immediately made her a likable character. Over the years, fans have been able to see her evolve into one of the most hardened survivors on the show. Her time in the apocalypse has not been easy and she has lost nearly every member of her family to the ruthless and unforgiving world. Those losses and the people that are still in her life are what keep Maggie going. She has become a leader and an icon for people to follow.
Episode 905 marked the end of Maggie’s story for the time being, according to Angela Kang, who confirmed we won’t see the character for the rest of season 9. As the story moves forward without the farmer’s daughter, it is important to reflect on her journey and take note of the many people who shaped Maggie into the powerful and determined Hilltop leader that we know and love.
