The Time Jump

What was your favorite part of the six year time jump?

Sonya says:

"It’s really difficult to pick one thing when there are so many wonderful things that seemed to happen during the jump. Rich and Michonne having a son is so wonderful and bittersweet. But I think Judith growing up has to be my favorite part. It seems only right that since they killed Carl it should be his sister who takes over his role in The Walking Dead narrative. I loved her interactions with Negan and I hope that Judith will take the story arc that Carl had with Negan in the comic because it’s just such a great arc.  I also desperately want Rick to come across a grown up Judith one day to bring that original story truly full circle."

Sara says:

"My favorite part of the time jump was definitely meeting an older Judith Grimes. I’m in love with her character already and I’m excited to see her story going forward. I am also super excited to learn that Rick and Michonne have a son now! I really can’t wait till the day Rick is reunited with Michonne and his children."

Jeffrey says:

"The older version of Judith is my favorite part of the time jump. I’m overjoyed that she is finally an actual character that can be actively involved in the plot. Not only is she a hardened survivor that can take care of herself, but she still has a hopeful and generous outlook on life. Her conversations with Michonne and Negan are my favorite moments from the episode, because of Judith’s personality and emotional depth."

Sarabeth says:

"My favorite part of the six-year time jump was definitely seeing the growth of the entire ensemble cast. They have all come a long way, and I think this new era of the show will allow fans to really appreciate them as main characters and not background characters."
