8) During the interview of Magna’s group, nobody, not even Michonne, asks them The Three Questions, which had been The Group’s standard operating procedure since they started taking in refugees to the prison in Season Four.

9) However, the fact that Alexandria has a council is a nice callback to how the prison’s government was structured after Woodbury fell.

10) In her speech to the council, Michonne mentions how recruiting people can come at a heavy price. Had Alexandria taken in someone who turned out to be hostile between Rick’s “death” and now?

11) The fact Michonne understands the significance of Magna’s tattoo is likely a subtle reference to Michonne’s pre-apocalypse profession as a lawyer.

12) Michonne’s “talking” to Rick is reminiscent of Rick “talking” to Lori and other deceased members of The Group via a telephone.

13) While holding Carol and Henry hostage, Jed mentions how tough times have been for he and his fellow ex-Saviors since, as he put it “Sanctuary went bust”. How long after Rick’s disappearance was that? It couldn’t have been that recently if Laura and D.J. are already established at Alexandria, but, at the same time, if it were that long ago, how’s Jed’s group been surviving all this time?

14) Apparently, Jed’s ex-Saviors use walkers as pack animals which is a first for any group in either Walking Dead show.
