The Walking Dead season 9 episode 7 recap: Stradivarius
The group runs outside to fight the walkers. Magna calls for their weapons and grabs a rock while DJ carries their weapons toward the wagon. They all start fighting, and Michonne tells him to give them the weapons. They have to get to the horses to keep them safe, so Yumiko calls out orders. Their weapons consist of slingshots and bows and arrows and they’re really good at fighting. When the fight is almost over Michonne says this is the same herd that attacked them. She knows because Bernie walks up in his paisley shirt. She puts him out of his misery as Magna weeps. Siddiq says they have to go, now.
Daryl is getting his bike ready when Carol wakes up. She doesn’t say anything (she heard the conversation) and she smiles when he says he’ll be ready in ten minutes.
As they ride along Michonne says that she understands the pain of their loss. Yumiko says that she Magna will be fine once they have a safe place. Michonne says this is as far as she can go. Siddiq apologizes for not telling her but he made a promise. Now she can come with them to Hilltop. She says that she promised Judith she’d be back soon. Siddiq asks about her promise to Carl, but before she can think too much on it two riders come up. They have spears and they’re from the Hilltop. They have no idea who Michonne is, but they have a message that they have Rosita. She tells them that she and her group are on their way.
Connie spots something in the trees. They all look, but they can’t see anything. Something is definitely watching them, though.

Daryl rides into the Hilltop and Henry wonders if his old friend Enid will recognize him now that he’s taller. Carol teases him about her. Tara is thrilled to see Daryl, and Jesus is so happy to see Carol. Aaron tells Daryl about Rosita and he offers to help, and Jesus gets into some armor and tells Tara that he knows the area. She says she’ll stay there and take care of things, but she warns him about the next kazoo complaint. Daryl calls for his dog and they take off, followed by Jesus and Aaron.
