The Whisperers arrived, a fan favorite character died, and The Walking Dead fans had some big feelings about all of it.
The Walking Dead wrapped up the first half of season 9 with a stunning midseason finale that finally brought The Whisperers into the story with a huge arrival. Unfortunately, their arrival cost everyone’s favorite ninja his life. Hilltop leader and resident moral compass Jesus exited the story as the first victim of The Whisperers.
When Jesus was fighting his way through some walkers to get to Eugene, Aaron, Michonne, Magna, and Yumiko he was shocked when a walker that he went to strike ducked, then turned and stabbed him. After the melee was over Daryl removed a walker skin mask from one of the dead, revealing the person underneath. The Whisperers have been revealed, although the survivors still don’t know what or who they really are.
There was also a lot of visible tension between Michonne and Tara, Enid, and Carol. Whatever happened to separate the communities must have been pretty intense for these old friends and survivors to be so cold to each other. It’s giving fans a lot of feelings to see them at odds with each other after all that they have been through together.
There was some teen drama that ended with Henry getting put in jail for being drunk and disorderly after his first day working with Earl and most fans agreed they could have done without the teen angst. But overall the episode was fantastic and fans were thrilled with the way that The Whisperers were revealed:
Man, I know what's going down, and I'm still getting the creeps. #TWD

Nope, no Namaste for Negan.
Is it me or did #amc step up their game in term of production for #twd it look more polished and color palette look much cleaner. The camera work and sound effect is different from before too. I noticed that.
