Season 8, “Stradivarius”

In a season that has been intense and emotional from the start the lighthearted sparring between Aaron and Jesus in “Stradivarius” gave fans a second to catch their breath. It was great to see these two together and it was a relief to see that Aaron was able to overcome losing his arm. He’s got a new metal arm and it looks like he and Jesus have been sparring a lot because he’s a fantastic fighter now.

Jesus was always at his best when he was fighting and the sparring between these two showed real camaraderie and friendship. Since it looks like relations between The Hilltop and Alexandria have been frosty for a long time it’s good to know that Jesus and Aaron managed to stay close despite the problems between the communities.

It’s sad to think that this clandestine meeting took place just a day before Jesus was killed. But that’s the way that life is in The Walking Dead world. Survival is day to day and not even having a thriving community or being a community leader can keep you safe. No one is safe in The Walking Dead world. And now that The Whisperers are here the communities are going to get a grim reminder of that fact.
