2. Jesus And Morgan Fight

Season 8, “Monsters”

Jesus was loyal to The Hilltop and to the survivors but he had his own moral code and he never hesitated to call out the others when he felt that they were acting in an immoral way. When Tara was going to kill The Saviors who ran from their assault on the outpost during All Out War Jesus refused to let her kill them. He was the one that insisted that The Saviors who ran should be tied up and taken back to The Hilltop. Tara and Morgan were not on board with that. But they gave in because of the impassioned argument that Jesus made to spare their lives.

When they were transporting the prisoners back to The Hilltop and they were attacked by a small herd some of The Saviors were killed. But others escaped, running off through the woods still tied together. Morgan caught up with a few of them and would have killed them but Jesus attacked Morgan to stop him.

The two had an epic fight, with Jesus not really trying to kill Morgan but trying to deflect his attacks. This scene was another chance for Jesus to really show off his fighting skills and it was great to watch these two martial artists square off against each other.
