1.  Rick and Daryl Meet Jesus

Season 6, “The Next World”

Jesus’ most memorable moment is more than just one moment. When Jesus arrived in The Walking Dead world and came across Daryl and Rick that changed everything for the survivors. Most of that episode involved Jesus outsmarting Rick and Daryl and Rick and Daryl trying to figure out who this guy was. Jesus never tried to actually hurt them, which he could have done if he had wanted. In fact, he helped them even as he was trying to steal the truck full of supplies they found.

When Jesus was in the truck and he and Daryl were struggling to take control of the truck a walker came up behind Daryl. Jesus could have let the walker get Daryl and taken the truck but he didn’t. He shot the walker, not Daryl, and the two of them continued wrangling for the truck.

This episode was a great introduction to a great character that would save the survivors more than once. Jesus’ strict moral compass, his ninja-like fighting skills, and warmth and humor will be greatly missed on The Walking Dead.
