The Walking Dead: Who will The Whisperers kill?

Wait…they just got here. Magna’s group just entered the television series a few episodes ago, but that certainly doesn’t mean they are safe. Upon their arrival at Alexandria, Judith assures them that they will be safe inside the walls. That should probably taken as a bit of foreshadowing that this tight nit band of survivors will experience more devastation. The group has had a rough time surviving out in the world, but they are finally being given a chance to catch their breath. As any fan knows, the second things get calm and people get comfortable, bad things happen. The safest member of this team is likely Magna herself, but anyone of them could be taken out. The most likely candidate for a death via The Whisperers is Luke. He has shown unwavering positivity and hope, which is usually a death sentence on this show. There’s also the fact that Luke meets his end in the comics via a head on a pike while Magna, Yumiko, Connie, and Kelly make it out of the massacre alive.

Miscellaneous survivors

The cast of characters on The Walking Dead is massive right now as each of the communities have been building up their numbers and forging ahead into the future. The introduction of The Whisperers will likely throw a wrench in this and numerous recurring and background characters could be killed off to showcase the large scale devastation that this could of villains can cause. Which smaller characters can be on the chopping block? The first that come to mind are Henry’s newest friends, Gage, Rodney, and Addy; these characters have shown a sense of recklessness that could cause their deaths later on. There’s also Tammy, who survived the death of her son, but could be murdered to develop her husband Earl; in the comics, the character of Tammy is yet another victim of the senseless decapitations to build a border.

Moving beyond the Hilltop, some other smaller characters that could be sacrificed to serve the story are the members of Oceanside…if they are still around. Cyndie and her people were initially hesitant to join the war efforts, seeing as they were afraid of what might happen if they made their presence known to the world. It would be a dramatic and tragic twist to have them killed off not by the Saviors whom they were so afraid of, but rather the next set of adversaries.
