Negan’s Escape

Will Negan become a threat again now that he’s out?

Sonya says:

"I think Negan’s time has passed. He’s been locked up for more than 7 years at this point. The Saviors are pretty much gone. Sanctuary looks abandoned. I’m guessing he will end up back at Alexandria because he won’t be able to make it at Sanctuary alone.  I think Negan is going to end up being an asset to fighting The Whisperers and that will redeem him to the community although he can never make up for murdering Glenn and Abe."

Sara says:

"I would hope not but after being locked up for so many years, I think Negan is looking for revenge. It’s possible that he might have a change of heart, but I think Negan will always love being in power and in charge."

Jeffrey says:

"I feel like Negan really just wants to find his Lucille again. I think he may pose a threat to the communities, but with the arrival of the Whisperers, he may see the value in teaming up with his former adversaries to defeat this common enemy. We know that the Sanctuary fell at some point during the time jump, and most of the Saviors are now dead or part of the other communities, so he really doesn’t have any power like he used to. He is certainly at a crossroad and will likely have to decide if he wants to be a good person or a bad person moving forward."

Sarabeth says:

"Honestly I think it might start out that way, but when things hit the fan he’s going to realize that he can actually be helpful and that might be a better way to go than to cause problems."
