Ten things to look for in the second half of The Walking Dead season 9

6. How will Jesus’ death impact the survivors?
As we’ve already seen in the teaser video for the second half of season 9, it looks like there will be a massive funeral for Jesus at The Hilltop involving just about everyone in the community gathering to mourn the loss.
The impact of losing Jesus is going to ripple through the community more than some people imagine. His leadership was more than just a figurehead. He was very hands-on, going outside the walls on a regular basis to get supplies, train, act as a liaison between the groups, and much more.
His loss will be big news to The Kingdom and Alexandria as well since he fought alongside them during All-Out War and was one of the best fighters in the zombie apocalypse until he was surprised by the new threat.
He likely won’t get as much of a farewell as Rick, Carl, or some of the other key characters, but there should be a nice memorial for him and a bit of a ripple effect when others learn of his fate.
