13) Martin (Terminus)

Introduction: Martin threatens to kill baby Judith unless Tyreese (who was protecting her) goes out and meets the walkers outside of their cabin. Despite this, Tyreese does not kill Martin but tells the others he did. Martin would go on to ambush Bob Stookey and bring him to a campfire where he and the other Terminus members feasted on Bob’s leg in front of him.

Biggest moment of Villainy: Though ambushing and eating Bob is up there, Martin putting his hand around baby Judith’s neck is Martin’s most villainous moment because the baby never even had a chance to protect itself. Martin would later return to haunt Tyreese during a hallucination scene prior to his death.

Everybody Hurts Sometimes: Martin surprisingly never cowers or becomes emotional even before his group is about to meet their end at the church.

The Good Side: Martin might have initially had good intentions about helping innocent people at their settlement until the group that brutalized Terminus arrived and changed its residents forever.

First Appearance: “No Sanctuary” (season 5, episode 9)

Last Appearance: Living: “Four Walls and a Roof” (season 5, episode 3) — In Tyreese’s hallucination: “What Happened and What’s Going On” (season 5, episode 9)

Cause of Death: Hacked/stabbed to death by Sasha.

Memorable Quote: “I tried to tell you man. It was gonna be you. You’re the type of guy who saves babies.” (To Tyreese)
