23) Ron Anderson (Alexandria)

Introduction: Ron Anderson was Jessie and Pete’s son and was quite normal when Rick’s group arrived in Alexandria. It’s only after Carl steals his girlfriend Enid and Rick kills his father that he changes. At one point, Ron attempts to kill Carl after being trained by Rick on how to use a gun, but after a short fight it seems it won’t be talked about again.

Biggest moment of Villainy: After Rick chops Jessie’s arm off to help Carl, Ron points a gun at Rick. Though he is stabbed from behind by Michonne he manages to take a shot which hits Carl in the eye, forever destroying his vision on one side of the face, causing horrific mental and physical trauma.

Everybody Hurts Sometimes: Ron can not get over the Grimes utterly destroying his way of life and doesn’t understand what his mother sees in Rick. However, he briefly connects with Rick after having his life saved, but he has ulterior motives when asking to be taught how to defend himself.

The Good Side: Ron originally befriends Carl by asking him to come play video games to relax when Rick’s group first arrives to the community.

First Appearance: “Remember” (season 5, episode 12)

Last Appearance: “No Way Out” (season 6, episode 9)

Cause of Death: Stabbed by Michonne while attempting to take vengeance on Rick, who had indirectly caused the death of his entire family.

Memorable Quote: “Your dad’s just gonna get more people killed, ’cause that’s what he does, that’s who he is. Your dad’s a killer.” (To Carl)
