19) Nicholas (Alexandria)

Introduction: Nicholas was a supply runner along with Deanna’s son Aiden when Rick’s group first arrived to Alexandria. They quickly took a distaste to Rick’s group, claiming they knew how to run things better, and eventually things got heated. Nicholas attempted to murder Glenn only to be spared when the tables were turned. Nicholas betrays Aiden, leaving him to be devoured by walkers instead of helping him after he’s impaled.

Biggest moment of Villainy: When Glenn, Nicholas, and Noah are stuck in a revolving door with walkers on the other side, Nicholas chooses to save himself, leaving Noah to be brutally eaten by walkers in front of Glenn.

Everybody Hurts Sometimes: Despite Nicholas’ attempt to murder Glenn and betray him multiple times, Glenn spares his life and believes he can still be reformed. While fleeing walkers, the two get trapped on top of a car by the infamous dumpster and Nicholas decides to take his own life, shooting himself. He says “Thank you” as his lifeless body carries Glenn down to the walkers with him.

The Good Side: Nicholas eventually tries to help Glenn after his many, many attempts on his life. But it’s too late and he decides to end his own life shortly afterwards, after pleading with Glenn to spare his life prior in a failed ambush.

First Appearance: “Remember” (season 5, episode 12)

Last Appearance: Living – “Thank You” (season 6, episode 3), Walker – “Heads Up” (season 6, episode 7)

Cause of Death: Suicide by self-inflicted gunshot to the head after being trapped on-top of a car surrounded by walkers.
