5. The Touring Dead Walking Tour

The Touring Dead Walking Tour is a two mile walking tour of the “Woodbury” setting from season 3 and various other filming sites from season 3-6 of The Walking Dead.  The guides are cosplayers and provide a lot of fun background information about the locations and the show. You will be able to see the gates of Alexandria and the wall around the settlement but you won’t be able to go inside on this tour.

This tour is a fun way to get to experience Senoia and see familiar locations from seasons 3-6 with a lot of other fans. And at only $25 per person it’s an inexpensive way to see some of the filming locations. The tour begins at the Georgia Mercantile Company which is located on Main St. in Senoia. The tour operates in all weather conditions except for thunderstorms or when there is lightning so come prepared for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. If you have an accessibility concern or challenge call the tour coordinators and they will work with you to address any challenges or concerns that you or a family member has.

To get a better idea of what you’ll see on this tour or to ask questions or book you can visit The Georgia Tour Company’s very active Facebook page here or visit their website  to find out more about the tours and book through the website.
