The release date for Episode 3 of The Walking Dead: The Final Season has been announced and a trailer for the upcoming DLC is also available.
With the struggles happening at Telltale Games, the question of whether or not fans would get to play the remaining episodes in The Walking Dead: The Final Season seemed to be quite relevant and pressing.
Thankfully, when Telltale stepped down, Skybound stepped up. While they took on the work with the help of former members of the Telltale team, they did announce there would be delays on the dates that were previously announced.
Episode 3 titled “Broken Toys” was originally scheduled to be released on Nov. 6 but due to all the complications and transfers, a new date had to be announced for the upcoming downloadable content.
On Saturday, Dec. 8, Skybound announced the release date for Episode 3 and “Broken Toys” will be released on Jan. 15!
That’s right, fans of these games will need to continue to be patient for the content, but it’s great to know that the game will get its release and the story of Clementine will get an actual conclusion in Telltale’s universe.

In addition, gamers may have noticed that The Final Season, its DLC, and previous installments in the game series have returned to digital purchase points such as Steam, Xbox, and the PlayStation Store after being previously pulled when the product’s completion was up in the air.
A huge thanks go out to Skybound for picking this project up to ensure that fans get to complete the story of Clementine in the zombie apocalypse and being so transparent about the delays and challenges it faced along the way. Knowing these games, The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be well worth the wait.
