5. Tamiel

  • Death episode: Season 8 episode 10 – “The Lost and the Plunderers”
  • Date of airing: March 4, 2018

Most of the losses during the year came in the form of The Saviors or virtually unknown survivors during the year, but Tamiel was a key part of The Scavengers and was often thought of as a high-ranking official in Jadis’ group.

Introduced in season 7 episode 8, Tamiel made her biggest impact in scenes with Father Gabriel as well as Simon, and observed the tide of the war shifting toward the survivors with The Sanctuary being assaulted and being told of Rick’s plans to win the war.

Jadis, Tamiel, and The Scavengers did switch sides and help out Rick and the people of Alexandria, but by then The Saviors had learned of their attempts to go back on their deal. Simon and a group of The Saviors arrived to wipe out every single one of Jadis’ people, leaving only the leader of The Scavengers alive.

In a sad and disgusting scene, Jadis was forced to eliminate her reanimated followers by putting them through a grinder at the junkyard, turning the walkers (including Tamiel) into some form of gross hamburger meat as tears rolled down her face.
