4. Harlan Carson

There is a lot to love about Carson. The medical professional was introduced while being saved by  Glenn Rhee and Daryl Dixon during a supply run for medical supplies that went sour, but happened to be exactly what the group needed.

Harlan was tasked with looking over Maggie during the complications during her pregnancy as an act of kindness, using some of the supplies they found for their own people to help out these strangers.

Carson was taken by The Saviors after his brother, also a doctor, was killed by Negan to serve as a message to other detractors. While there, he looked after Eugene, who was having major problems sleeping, and Gabriel, who was suffering from a condition which was taking his eyesight.

Gabriel and Harlan were able to escape The Sanctuary, but they didn’t get far. After being saved by Gabe, they were discovered by The Saviors attempting to start a vehicle to get out of there. Carson took that opportunity to try to grab a gun to take out some of the threat but was shot and killed before he could do much damage.
