The Walking Dead’s Peter Luis Zimmerman teamed with Comic Book’s Brandon Davis to create a stunning music video, “TQSAT.” You have to check it out!

The TWD Family already knew that Peter Luis Zimmerman, the actor who brings Eduardo to life on The Walking Dead, is also a very talented musician. And we also know that Brandon Davis, the man who brings us news of the Dead for ComicBook.com, is a man of many talents. When these two teamed up to create a music video, they knocked it out of the park.

Zimmerman’s song “TQSAT”, which stands for “te quiero solo a ti” (“I only love you” in Spanish) is a tale that so many of us can relate to. It’s the story of someone who is in love with someone who doesn’t love him back, and no matter how much she hurts him, he still wants her back even when he knows it might not be the best thing for him.

The music video follows Zimmerman as he looks back at the relationship through photos, swiping through them like memories. In some cases his hesitation to swipe is evident as he tries to hold on to those memories no matter how toxic they might be, and that’s something a lot of us can understand and relate to.

We had a chance to talk to Davis and Zimmerman, who talked about the inspiration for the song: “I wrote it about 6 months ago, and it was based on a major high school breakup that actually inspired a whole album.” Zimmerman is especially proud of this song, and that’s when he realized that this was the perfect time to collaborate with Brandon Davis. The pair had been talking about collaborating for a while, and both agreed that this was the ideal project.

“TQSAT” marks the directorial debut for Brandon Davis. Davis, who is known for bringing some of the best TWD news to fans through ComicBook.com, instantly had a vision for the song’s music video as soon as he heard it. In fact, once his schedule lined up with Zimmerman’s it took Davis only two days to shoot the whole video! He calls this experience “a passion project” and a “love letter to his favorite chapter of life.”
