Judith Grimes is living up to her nickname, and these 3 New Year resolutions will help her when The Walking Dead returns in February.

Lil Ass Kicker is all grown up after the time jump on The Walking Dead, and she seems to be doing just fine on her own. Michonne has done a great job teaching her about the ways of the world, and Judith has been learning her own valuable lessons along the way. However, the second half of season 9 will show Judith horrors unlike anything she has ever seen, so these 3 New Year resolutions should help her to make it out alive.

Listen

Michonne won’t want Judith near the threat of the Whisperers, but let’s face it: She’s not going to like that. Judith has too much of her mother, father and brother in her to stay away from trouble. In this case, though, she should. Judith needs to listen to Michonne now more than ever.

Learn

Everything that happens in Judith’s world is a learning experience. She has the best role models an apocalyptic child could hope for: Michonne, Carol, Daryl, Aaron, and so many others. She might not have her father in her life, but Michonne is doing a fantastic job and Judith has the best mom around.

Judith should be a sponge, learning as much as she can from everyone so that she can be a true leader in the future.

Be Smart

Kids growing up in the world of The Walking Dead have it rough. While you’d think they would have a little more sense they still do some pretty dumb things.

Judith Grimes shouldn’t follow in their footsteps.

Judith has already shown that she can wield a gun and a katana like a pro. She is a solid judge of character and she seems to understand the way the world works. But she has never seen anything like what the Whisperers can do, and so she needs to be smart. No disobeying orders from her mother. No slipping away to put her own plan in motion. Be smart, and survive.
