The Walking Dead 2019: 3 New Year resolutions for Gabriel

Gabriel has had a very interesting first half of season 9, and hopefully these 3 New Year’s resolutions will help him in The Walking Dead 9B.

Father Gabriel needs to get his head in the game if he’s going to make it out of The Walking Dead 9B. He started out in season 9 as Anne’s boyfriend, and then she tied him up and left him behind as she escaped. Now he’s dating Rosita, but he’s distracted and he might have let Negan loose. Here are 3 New Year’s resolutions for Gabriel in 9B.

Get Your Head In The Game

Gabriel’s plan to extend the reach of the radios is a great idea, and that’s why Rosita volunteered to go on the mission to place the transmitters. He seemed to have everything together, but when he learns that she has been hurt, he starts to crumble.

It doesn’t help anything when Negan chips away at Gabriel’s resolve by talking about Rosita’s feelings for him. Gabriel needs to know that she loves him, and if she doesn’t then he needs to know that, too, rather than allowing jealousy to cloud his thoughts.

Gabriel needs to focus, plain and simple. When he loses focus, people get hurt.

Tell The Truth

We don’t know if Gabriel revealed that Anne tied him up and left him behind. Her disappearance is tied to Rick’s disappearance, and that could be helpful information. Daryl has been out looking for Rick all this time, and knowing that Anne was sneaking away could reveal that Rick isn’t dead after all.

Unfortunately for him, telling the truth about what happened with Anne will also reveal that he covered for her when she left her post before Rick disappeared, and that won’t win him any favors.

Step Up

It’s hard to tell if Gabriel was the one who accidentally left the cell door open, and we know he feels bad that Rosita was hurt.

Now is not the time to fall apart. Gabriel has come too far to fall apart now. Instead, he needs to step up and help fix things before something even worse happens.
