The Walking Dead 2019: 3 New Year resolutions for Henry
Carol and Ezekiel’s son Henry has a lot to learn, so here are 3 New Year resolutions that should get him on the right path in The Walking Dead 9B.
Henry is all grown up after the time jump and in the second half of The Walking Dead season 9 he’s serving as an apprentice at Hilltop to help his family. Of course, the last time we see him he’s serving a very different kind of time. He has a lot to learn, and these 3 New Year’s resolutions should help him in 9B.
Don’t Go Crazy
Judging by his reaction to the Hilltop teens, Henry has had a sheltered life at the Kingdom. It must be hard to be the son of the King and Carol, with so many people watching your every move, and so it’s not surprising that the first time he had a chance to go crazy he did. Hopefully getting drunk is out of his system because no good ever comes from drunk kids in the apocalypse, especially when their clubhouse is outside the community’s walls.
It doesn’t help that his crush, Enid, is in a relationship with Alden. That’s hard for a kid to see.
Henry, you’re at the Hilltop to learn how to be a blacksmith, so focus on the job. It will keep you out of trouble.
Learn As Much As Possible
The whole point of leaving the Kingdom is to learn. So he needs to learn what he can, while you can. Things are about to get turned upside down when news of Jesus’ death reaches the Hilltop, and that’s nothing compared to the threat of the Whisperers.
There is a lot that can be learned from the people around him. Take advantage of the opportunity.
Don’t Die
Between the Whisperers and the faire there are a lot of reasons to be worried about what’s going to happen in the second half of The Walking Dead season 9. Henry needs to stay out of trouble. That’s the only way he’s going to stay alive.
The Walking Dead returns on February 10, 2019.
