Lauren Cohan show Whiskey Cavalier gets a big ABC premiere date

The Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan stars in the ABC program Whiskey Cavalier and the upcoming show is getting a massive push in a high-profile time slot.

Fans of The Walking Dead know Lauren Cohan for her excellent work as Maggie on the popular zombie survival drama series, but she has many great credits to her name including Mile 22, All Eyez on Me, Archer, The Vampire Diaries, Chuck, and much more.

Soon, she will be able to add the ABC dramedy series Whiskey Cavalier to her credits. In fact, the show is going to be getting a big push from the network by placing it in a high-profile time slot for the premiere episode.

According to Deadline, Whiskey Cavalier will be making its debut on Feb. 24 at 11:35 PM ET, immediately following the channel’s broadcast of the Academy Awards.

The pilot episode will replay in its usual time slot on the 27th, but putting a “sneak peek” of the show in that spot is a massive move by ABC to get a lot of eyes on the show, meaning the network believes in the show and feels it can be a big success.

Of course, there has already been a trailer and several promos released for the Scott Foley/Lauren Cohan dramedy where the two will play Will Chase and Frankie Trowbridge who are described as leaders of “an inter-agency team of flawed, funny and heroic spies who periodically save the world”.

In addition to Cohan, The Walking Dead alum Tyler James Williams who played Noah will also appear on the ABC show.

It has already been reported that Cohan will return to The Walking Dead for season 10 to explain her character’s exit from The Hilltop and possibly what caused a rift between Maggie and Michonne.
