After many twists and turns in the development and distribution of the game, The Walking Dead: The Final Season has officially been brought back to life.

The day has finally come. Surviving development purgatory was one thing from The Walking Dead: The Final Season but now the game has officially risen from the dead and is in the hands of gamers all around the world.

Telltale’s game took a confusing path to be brought back to life. Finished by Skybound with the help of a small crew from Telltale Games and distributed by Fortnite juggernaut Epic Games the game was finally released on Jan. 15, 2019.

Skybound Games released a tweet announcing that Episode 3 of the game titled “Broken Toys” is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Those who have installed the game need to download an update from the Xbox, PlayStation, or Epic Games marketplace to the game before they can begin their playthrough, but once that is done, the play can begin.

Of course, The Walking Dead: The Final Season will complete the story of Clementine and could possibly be the last game of its type. Being able to know the journey she took from the beginning to the end should be satisfying for gamers everywhere.

There is still one more episode of the game to be released before it is completed, but if you watched the trailer, odds are that you are terrified for what the story holds for Clementine, AJ, and the other survivors.
