New photos from The Walking Dead season 9B released

The Walking Dead fans got another peek at the second half of season 9 with new photos released from the season premiere and beyond.

AMC released a series of photos from the season 9 premiere of The Walking Dead, as well as a couple of images from future episodes. One of the photos is a still of Cailey Fleming as Judith Grimes, and there’s no question that little Judith takes after her father.

The season 9 mid-season finale ended with Michonne, Aaron, Eugene, Daryl, Magna, Yumiko and Dog were surrounded by walkers and Whisperers. After the encounter the group heads back to Hilltop with Jesus’ body, and it looks like they stop along the way.

There’s an image of Michonne with some walkers…but now we have no way of knowing if they’re walkers or Whisperers.

Daryl is also there in the covered bridge, and he means business.

Meanwhile, back in Alexandria, Negan takes a nice constitutional around the community. Is he assessing weaknesses or looking for a way out? Or maybe he’s about to do some Saturday morning chores with his shovel. Either way, he’s sporting a new look.

Luke and Alden go out on horseback. They might be scouting herds or looking for something. But they’re out in the open in a big field.

The final image from episode 909 is Cailey Fleming as Judith Grimes. She’s wearing her dad’s hat and she’s the spitting image of her father.

Moving ahead, there’s a look at episode 911 that features Ezekiel and Carol in a wagon, flanked by Diane and Jerry. What this tells us is that Diane and Carol make it back to the Kingdom after departing the Hilltop, but now they’re on another adventure.

The final two images come from 913. The first shows Ezekiel and Carol having a conversation inside the King’s chambers. This is the same room where the throne used to be, with Shiva at the King’s side. Now there is a table with two chairs, and a chalice for looks. Looking closely at Carol, she’s smiling at something. Is Ezekiel making another one of his speeches?

Lastly, there’s some serious girl power as Tara, Magna and Yumiko run down a road. It looks like they’re running toward something serious rather than running away from it. Either way, they look fierce.

The newest images from The Walking Dead season 9B are enough to get fans wondering what’s coming up in the second half of the season.
