Chandler Riggs of The Walking Dead was hacked, robbed

After his exit from The Walking Dead, Chandler Riggs focused on his music and his acting future but never expected to have his distribution account hacked.

There have been some major deviations from The Walking Dead comics on the television adaptation. One of the biggest differences is that Carl Grimes made his exit from the series in season 8.

Chandler Riggs, the actor who played Carl, started to focus on his music and branching out his acting portfolio. He was able to land some great roles in projects like Only, Inherit The Viper, and most recently the ABC series A Million Little Things.

While his acting career seems to be going well, it seems as though his music endeavors have experienced a minor setback. According to a post on Twitter from Chandler Riggs, his music distribution account was hacked and the balance of earnings was drained.

Of course, $66.37 isn’t going to make or break Riggs, it’s more the principle of the matter. Nobody likes being hacked and with the former Carl Grimes actor following his heart when it comes to music, this is more of a hit emotionally than financially.

The good news is that Riggs seems to have some new music ready to roll under the name eclipse on Soundcloud. He teased six new tracks being released in early 2019 for fans to listen to being released soon.

Hopefully, Riggs will be able to secure his account and keep his music (as well as his profits from it) safe from hackers and those with ill intentions while he continues to hone his crafts as both an actor and a musician.

While fans of The Walking Dead may always think of Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes, it’s nice to know he’s still working hard and getting opportunities as an actor and a musician. Hopefully, this minor setback doesn’t discourage him in any way.
