Norman Reedus, Greg Nicotero to appear on Talking Dead premiere
The Walking Dead returns on February 10 and so too does Talking Dead. There’s a lot to talk about so Chris Hardwick will welcome two big guests!
February 10 is going to be a big day for fans of The Walking Dead. Not only does the show return for the mid-season premiere, but it’s also the season 3 premiere of Ride with Norman Reedus and the mid-season premiere of Talking Dead. With so much to talk about, it’s no wonder that Norman Reedus and Greg Nicotero will be the first guests on Chris Hardwick’s couch.
Greg Nicotero directs the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead, titled “Adaptation.” He’s also very good friends with Norman Reedus, and together they own Nic and Norman’s, a restaurant in Georgia near the show’s filming location. Nic and Norman’s will be hosting viewing parties for The Walking Dead and fans can purchase tickets and enjoy good food and conversation while they watch the latest episode.
Norman Reedus has been busy over the past few months, filming The Walking Dead and then Ride with Norman Reedus, as well as becoming a father to an adorable baby girl with partner Diane Kruger. Ride has already received a fourth season pick-up ahead of the season 3 premiere, which features several members of The Walking Dead cast, past and present.
Nicotero shared the news about their appearance on Talking Dead on his Instagram account:
The Walking Dead mid-season premiere has an extended run time and will end at 10:14pm ET. It will be followed immediately by the premiere of Talking Dead, and then Ride with Norman Reedus follows after Talking Dead. According to the AMC website, Ride with Norman Reedus will premiere at midnight.
For fans of Chris Hardwick’s therapy session and aftershow there will be plenty to discuss as the Whisperers arrive in the second half of season 9, which is why we’re glad to have Nicotero and Reedus there to walk us through the exciting mid-season premiere.
