Fans waiting for a physical release of The Walking Dead The Final Season on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch won’t have to wait much longer.

Gamers who are playing through The Walking Dead: The Final Season through digital copies on PC, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 get the final episode of the game on March 26, 2019, and it appears as though those waiting for a physical release now have a date they can play as well.

According to a release from Skybound’s website, March 26th will also bring discs to major game retailers, meaning everyone can finish The Final Season on the same date or enjoy it at their own leisure.

Even more, a new audience will be available for the game when the physical release launches. Skybound revealed that the Nintendo Switch would also have the game for those without a PC or the other consoles.

The box art features Clementine with a bow and arrow drawn while A.J. is standing by her side. Behind them, the sun appears the be setting on Ericson’s Boarding School for Troubled Youth and the bottom of the cover features a massive group of walkers…or so we are led to believe.

Skybound also shared a great way to pick up the game if you will be attending PAX East in Boston:

"“Will you be at PAX East in Boston, March 28th through 31st? Be sure to swing the Skybound Games booth to meet our team—we can reminisce on Clem’s journey in person. And you can purchase your boxed copy of The Final Season right there at the booth!”"
