1. The Whisperers turn around
Michonne, Daryl, Yumiko, and the others involved in the skirmish in the graveyard are definitely on high alert after losing Jesus and learning about the Whisperers. They are starting to question every walker they see in case it is another member of the new enemy in disguise.
On their way home from the graveyard, the group came upon a bridge with a small group of walkers on it. Rather than approach and wipe them out quietly and cleanly, they tested them by having Daryl shoot them in the legs with his crossbow.
It didn’t take long to reveal that there were members of the Whisperers among them. Falling to the ground, one of them got swarmed by the real walkers while another attempted to turn around and escape…only to be met by Michonne.
This scene led to the capture of Lydia but also started a fundamental change in how the survivors and fans see the undead on The Walking Dead and should add plenty of interest into dealing with walkers going forward.
