4. Some harsh interrogation
War is hell and losing an excellent fighter on your side is grounds for doing something drastic. When you have the opportunity to gain ground or intel on an enemy, you have to take advantage of those situations.
Sometimes, how that is done can be a bit disturbing. One prime example of this is how Daryl confronted Lydia in the jail cell after her capture when Michonne was away and Henry was watching on from his cell.
It was all a show for Henry to get him to bond with Lydia and get the information, but there was still something disturbing about seeing Daryl with his hand around Lydia’s throat and a knife pointed directly at her face.
Hopefully, the ends justify the means when it comes to his kind of interrogation but it stinks to see anyone treated this way. Plus, you have to wonder if Daryl himself feels any regret about using this technique during his interrogation.
