5 biggest WTF moments from The Walking Dead episode 909

5. Those poor pups.
Since The Walking Dead made its series debut, there have been so many deaths that they are difficult to count. Humans, walkers, animals, civilizations, buildings, crops, and more have met their demise over that time.
We’ve lost some of our favorite characters over the years but there is still something extra heartbreaking when animals meet their doom in the zombie apocalypse….sometimes even more heart wrenching than when humans die.
This episode saw three dogs in the Express Yourself clothing store chase Negan up some shelving before he was eventually able to give them the slip. He did leave them with a parting gift when he pushed a walker inside and closed the door.
Off the screen, the dogs were whining and whimpering while with the walker. Assuming the worst, it has to be believed that the undead got at least one of the pups…or took a bite out of one anyway. And based on the sneak peek for next week, it seems like animals are still in quite a bit of trouble.
