The Walking Dead panelists share their predictions for episode 910

How are the survivors going to deal with the Whisperers? What will happen to Lydia? Our panelists discuss their predictions for The Walking Dead episode 910.

Based on the previews for The Walking Dead episode 910 it looks like fans will see a lot of Alpha’s origin story and Lydia’s story as well. It looks like Lydia was quite young when the apocalypse happened so like Carl and Judith and Henry she’s really grown up in the apocalypse world although she probably does remember a little bit of the world before everything turned.

In another preview for episode 910 Tara, Connie, Kelly, and a few others from the Hilltop are out looking for Alden and Luke when they find the horses the men took on their scouting trip, dead and gutted. It’s clear from the remains that the horses were deliberately killed and parts of their hides taken. The Whisperers probably took them to make their gruesome masks and to hold the skin of the dead together.

But Tara steps into the leadership role that she needs to take now by declaring that since Lydia was lying no one is to go outside the walls of Hilltop until they know more about the Whisperer threat. Of course that’s probably not how this is going to play out since it is The Walking Dead. Episode 210 Predictions And Speculation

What are your predictions for 910 and for the rest of 9B?

Sonya says:

"We have the advantage of knowing what the Whisperers are but the characters are still figuring it out. Since Alpha took Alden and Luke I’m guessing based on the teasers that Alpha and the group of Whisperers that took Alden and Luke will bring the prisoners to Hilltop and demand an exchange of Alden and Luke for Lydia. Alpha’s not going to let Hilltop keep Lydia as a prisoner. I don’t think she’s rescuing Lydia out of any sense of maternal devotion, although she might be. But I think it’s because it would make her look weak if Hilltop took one of their people and kept them. So I think that the Hilltoppers, and all of us, are going to get properly introduced to Alpha in 910 and I am 100% here for it. I can’t wait!"

Sara says:

"I can’t wait to learn more about the Whisperers! They have to be the most terrifying and intriguing group of people that we have seen on the show! I’m sure that a lot of death and destruction will come a long with them, but it will make for some pretty epic storytelling!"

Jeffrey says:

"I predict our people will finally come back together in an effort to fight against the Whisperers. We started to see some reunification following the death of Jesus, but hopefully that continues and our survivors realize that the only way through this crisis is by coming back together. I’m thinking the season will build up to the Fair, which will serve as a jumping point for a larger conflict with the Whisperers in Season 10."

Sarabeth says:

"I think Daryl is going to play a big role in 9B but not in the way fans will expect. We’ve already seen a lot of growth with him since the time jump and I think that will lead him to make different decisions than he would have before. I think he might even be level-headed enough to work with Negan, albeit begrudgingly!"
