13) When Daryl asks why he had to be the one to deal with Lydia, Michonne responds that he’s the best judge of character that she knows. This may be a reference to Daryl’s role in recruiting people for the Prison way back in Season Four.
14) As Negan sits alone in the Sanctuary, he notices Big Richie (As well as the other walkers in the vicinity) walking away. While Negan isn’t too concerned by it (And thus, neither are we, at the time), it does raise a question: What was drawing the walkers away? Was it the Whisperers? Is this a subtle hint that they’re amassing a huge herd?
15) According to Lydia, the Whisperers were always going to try to kill the survivors once they found them. She explains the group’s philosophy is that “Anyone who isn’t dead is a threat”. While it’s not a far reach, why, specifically, do the Whisperers believe this? Was there a specific incident that led them to this belief?
16) Enid tells Magna that she doesn’t know what to call Alden because “This is all so new”. Does she mean that their relationship is new? How new? Like, just before Henry arrived at Hilltop?
17) At the end of the episode, Luke and Alden meet the Whisperers. Clearly, there’s more than ten amongst them. Was Lydia lying about their numbers or…did she legitimately not know?
