The Walking Dead best fan reactions to 910 Omega

The Walking Dead revealed the backstory for Lydia and Alpha last night and then Alpha finally made her unmasked appearance and fans had a lot to say about it.
The Walking Dead took a unique approach to the reveal of Alpha by delivering Alpha’s backstory before fans even got to see her without her mask. Through the memories of Lydia the story of what happened to Lydia and her mother at the very beginning of the outbreak gave viewers some insight as to who Alpha was before the apocalypse and what it was in her personality that turned her into Alpha.
Cassady McClincy delivered a fantastic performance as a near-feral Lydia who still had some memories of what it was like to be in community but those memories were faulty, and fading. The abuse and trauma that she suffered has made her a very damaged character but there is clearly still hope that she could learn to live among people again.
And at the very end of the episode fans finally got to see Alpha herself without her mask. The report of Samantha Morton’s ferocity and sheer menacing presence did not do justice to the actual figure of Alpha. Alpha on the show bears a striking resemblance to Alpha in The Walking Dead comic but Samantha Morton has made show Alpha exceptionally frightening. Negan’s bombastic drama and The Governor’s reality breaks made them a little more relatable and kept them from being really scary. Alpha is a chill-inducing villain and fans were excited to see her arrival. They had a lot to say about Alpha, Lydia, and Henry during The Walking Dead episode 910 ‘Omega’:
