The Walking Dead episode 911 teaser preview: Alpha is ready to negotiate

Take a look at the teaser preview video for season 9 episode 11 of The Walking Dead titled “Bounty” before it airs on Sunday, Feb. 24 on AMC!

For the second week in a row, The Walking Dead has staggered the release of their preview videos, giving the sneak peek scene immediately after an episode airs on AMC and waiting until later in the week for the teaser video.

This week, the teaser video for season 9 episode 11 was released and features what should be an intense showdown between Alpha and the people of the Hilltop, as well as a bunch of other intense peeks at the episode.

There is quite a bit happening in the video, so let’s break down the action as well as what it could mean going forward:

• Alpha warns that if her daughter is not returned that there will be a conflict between the groups. Considering everything that Lydia has told them, the decision to give her back has to be a difficult one.
• Good thing: Luke and Alden are still alive! Bad thing: Alpha has them and wants to use them as bargaining chips to get Lydia back. Now, the pressure to give Lydia back gets even stronger.
• Carol and Ezekiel along with Jerry from the Kingdom will be in this episode and will be fighting. It’s hard to tell what they’re fighting, but they appear to be traditional walkers.
• Daryl approaches the gate to talk to Alpha to let her know that they can’t have Lydia back. Alpha replies with two words that should bring fear into everyone’s hearts: “Wrong answer.”
• Rapid fire segments hit, showing Alden biting down on a muzzle, Connie running through the woods, and more, with walkers closing in on the Hilltop.

How fitting that this is episode number “911” in the series. This should be a more action based episode of The Walking Dead considering everything from this teaser video from season 9 episode 11. But the Whisperers are unlike anything the survivors have seen before, so it is hard to know what to expect. Thankfully, fans will find out on Sunday!
